Description: This course will examine Dutch and Flemish seventeenth-century art, including major masters, such as Rembrandt, Rubens, and Vermeer, and major developments, such as the rise of still life, genre, and landscape painting. It will also explore women artists, Delft tiles, doll's houses, and multicultural aspects of art production. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: HART 578. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for HART 378 if student has credit for HART 578.
