Description: Do you love the game of golf? Ever wondered about what goes in to designing courses, how to make a golf ball, or who formulates the rules? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this course is for you. We will examine subjects such as the historical beginnings of golf, influential players, the social impact of the "country club" and the philosophy behind the mental game. We will also analyze the evolution of golf equipment, course architecture, the "ideal swing" and the USGA rule book.
