Description: Course focuses on emerging and established thematics in cultural anthropology that have been drawn from philosophical (and other) interventions concerning being, matter, vibrancy, vitality and objects and considers how these conceptual domains can be productively engaged in the empirical work of anthropology. Cross-list: ANTH 417. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ANTH 617 if student has credit for ANTH 417.
