Description: A thorough treatment of basic methods of analysis such as metric spaces, compactness, sequences and series of functions. Also further topics in analysis, such as Hilbert spaces, Fourier series, Sturm- Liouville theory. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for MATH 321 if student has credit for MATH 331.
