Description: Overview of neuropsychological and cognitive neuroscience approaches to higher mental functions including sensation and perception, attention, motor control, and neuroplasticity. Other topics include basic neuroanatomy, experimental and clinical investigative methods, and the historical and philosophical context of contemporary neuroscience. Instructor Permission Required.Cross-list: PSYC 575, Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: NEUR 301. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for NEUR 501 if student has credit for NEUR 301.
