Description: This course will provide students an opportunity to further develop an understanding of sexual violence issues and crisis intervention skills. Students will first observe conversations on the 24-hour sexual assault and domestic vilence hotlines of the Houston Area Women's Center. Then students will provide crisis intervention services for hotline callers, under the supervision of a Houston Area Women's Center staff member. Instructor Permission Required.
