Description: The focus of this course will be to provide the basics for understanding and applying analytical techniques to professional teams both on the sports side (predicting player performance and outcomes) and the business side (establishing business models). A survey into basic statistical techniques (multiple regression, discriminant analysis, etc.) will be the foundation from which we will work.
