Description: Formerly ECON 355. Study of the principles of U.S. and international equity and debt markets, and the interactions between such markets and various countries' monetary and exchange rate policies. The role of financial markets and institutions in the allocation and transfer of credit and risk is highlighted, and various existing and suggested regulatory frameworks are discussed.
