Description: This course will examine factors influencing Indian cultures and languages. Topics include geography, customs, costumes, foods and traditions. There will be specific attention to linguistic diversity from Ancient India, British rule to present day. Questions concerning Hindi and Davanagari Script will be addressed. Will be taught in English.
