Description: The course will introduce students to historical and contemporary structures through multi-media presentations, computer-based visualizations, field trips, and hands-on experiments with materials of construction and physical models of structures. This is an introductory interactive course on the art and science of designing engineered structures and is intended for freshmen and sophomores interested in both civil engineering and architecture.
