Description: Survey of Hebrew Literature including Mishnah, Midrash, Legal Codes, Contracts, Philosophy, Piyyutim, Prayers, Prose and Poetry. Grammatical and syntactical analysis of Hebrew readings supplemented by translations and secondary readings. Discussion in English. Reading knowledge of Hebrew required.
