Description: Germany nowadays seems to have found her place in the center of Europe. In both Weimar Republic and Hitler's Reich, BRD and GDR, the experience of and struggle with modernity was essential for recent German history. Discussions encompass select texts both fictitious and theoretical, architecture, fine arts, and film. Taught in German.
