Description: The team-taught Department Seminar critically examines the methodological questions and interpretive paradigms that have been central to the academic study of religion. Philosophical, ethical, textual, psychological, comparative and gender issues, among others, will be considered. Instructors and topics vary. Mandatory for graduate students; majors by invitation. Repeatable for Credit.
