Description: Overview of the Earth's deep interior with an emphasis on dynamical processes and physical properties. Topics include: global energy budget; convective heat transfer; thermal evolution of the Earth; constitutive laws; rheology; seismic velocities; composition, density structure; thermal expansion; thermal conductivity.
