Description: Cross?Border Investments builds on critical thinking developed in Core courses such as Strategy, Finance and Ethics. Module I examines private cross?border investments focusing on strategic rationale and valuation in mergers, acquisitions and leveraged buyouts. Module II examines international investments in individual public securities focusing on fundamental analysis and return on investment. Political risk, corporate governance and other non?financial considerations are analyzed in both modules. The approach is case?oriented and, from time?to-time, our discussions will be supplemented by visits from prominent business leaders with relevant investment expertise. Repeatable for Credit.
