Description: We examine the art, architecture, and cultural history of the Hellenistic Age, from Alexander the Great (d. 323 BC) until the death of Cleopatra (31 BC). During this period a brilliant Greek-based culture developed from the Mediterranean to the Indus Valley, transforming Greeks, Persians, Jews, Romans and many others. Cross-list: HART 313, CLAS 313.
