Description: Advancement of biochemical laboratory methods, record keeping, technical communication skills, and research strategies. Students maintain a research quality laboratory notebook and submit a paper in the style of a journal article. Taught first half of each semester. BIOS 301 is required but it can be taken during the same semester as BIOS 311.
