Description: This class will introduce students to the basic principles and steps of ballet technique. It is designed to increase the students' knowledge and understanding of the structure of the human body and how the structure functions to greatest benefit in ballet technique. The class end early in the semester due to the extended length of each class. 200-level course requires a paper on a ballet performance that the student attended during the semester. Prerequisite: Successful completion of LPAP graduation requirement.
