Description: This short course will focus on developing the tools of Monte Carlo simulation for valuation under uncertainty. The course will involve two seprate two hour meetings. In the first 2 hour meeting the basic concepts of Monte Carlo simulation will be covered, as well as building a tool box of basic strategies in excel. The 2nd meeting will discuss a corporate finance capital budgeting care analysis that relics on Monte Carlo Simulation. Grades will be determined on the basis of the case report, class participation, and a short homework assignment.
