Description: This two-part course seeks to provide students with the skills to evaluate large capital projects in the high-risk oil and gas industry. Under a format similar to a corporation's, we will re-create the porcess to approve projects worth billions of dollars in downstream and upstream businesses, using current information. Scope of work will range from premise-setting, price and risk analysis, to financial and corporate assessment, as role-playing groups jointly examine projects from idea to startup.
