Description: This is a beginning dance class that introduces students to modern dance technique and the performing of dance combination to music. The class has a progression; core work on the floor; exercises at center; moving across the floor; and jumps. The majority of the classes are spent learning dance technique, however, some time will also be spent on the history of modern dance and choreography short dance performance.
