Description: This course acquaints students with constrained optimization techniques and other advanced tools used in modern economic theory including multivariate analysis, basic linear algebra, topology, convexity, fixed point theorems, separation and dynamic optimization. The course concentrates on individual optimization. Two person zero sum games are discussed including their connection to duality in linear programming.
