Description: An intermediate level modern dance class that incorporates a variety of modern dance techniques including: Graham, Holm, Hawkins, Limon, and Evans. The class places emphasis on correct anatomical alignment, breathe and release, rhythmic and spatial accuracy, and performance commitment. Students will be expected to master complex movement phrases and become familiar with stylistic and historic components of modern dance from the 1960's to the present.
