Description: Introduce students to the key issues facing managers regarding the operations management of their companies. The goal is to expose students to operations management issues they may face in general management or financial management of companies, either in the manufacturing or service sectors. Topics include: Just In Time (Lean) Production, Total Quality Management, Statistical Process Control (Six Sigma), The Theory of Constraints, Business Process Re-engineering, Supply Chain Cost Management, Leadership Skills in Operations, and Participative Management. Repeatable for Credit.
