Description: This course will introduces important elements of Korean culture and society through readings and multimedia. Topics are in the areas of history, philosophy, and family life around the early 20th century to the present. Also, the class will explore the recent phenomenon of "Korean Wave" in Asia. Korean background is unnecessary.
