Description: The focus of this course is on the understanding of fundamental issues related to biomechanics of the human body, reactions of different types of tissue and synthetic material to load and the biomechanics of biomaterial. In examples, the effect of mechanical conditions on the human body function and the effect of tissue property on whole body behavior will be reviewed. Cross-list: BIOE 690.
