Description: This course introduces students to world mythologies and mythmakers, from the beginning to the modern period. Included mythologies: Babylonia, Sumerian, Hindu, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Irish, Welsh, Old Norse, Anglo-Saxon Finnish, Mayan, Hpoi, modern (Borges, Phillip Glass). Cross-list: WGST 368, MDST 368.
