Description: Introduction to numerical approximation techniques and statistical methods with bioengineering applications. Topics include error propagation, Taylor's Series expansions , roots of equations, numerical differentiation and integration techniques for solving ordinary differential equations. Statistical methods for hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, probability and regression analysis are also covered. Matlab and other software will be used for solving equations.
