Description: Graduate research seminar in U.S. women's history designed to introduce students to a growing body of literature on women and gender that is changing the way historians understand American history more broadly. By considering a variety of new scholarship participants are introduced to the major questions that have engaged feminist historians for decades, as well as new questions that are just now beginning to shape the field.
