Description: The specification, design, and implementation of high-speed DSP and microcontroller-based systems, taking into account cost constraints available technology, and other factors. Includes instruction on high-speed design theory, hardware/software interface, and approaches to designing practical hardware systems. Major hardware/software design project required. Must complete ELEC 494 to receive credit for ELEC 424.
