Description: LITERATURE AND THE STATE ***** Is literature a mere extension and apparatus of state constitution and sovereignty, or is it a potentially subversive space where institutions of power can be disarticulated? If it is the latter, in what does such a disarticulation consist? Readings will include Borges, Rulfo, Roa Bastos, Arguedas, Piglia and F.
