Description: TEXT FROM POPULAR CULTURE: ADVANCED AND INTERMEDIATE CHINESE ***** Presents Chinese through film, popular songs, short fiction, and Chinese cuisine. Reading material is generally from authentic texts. Students perform regular short writing assignments in an increasing formal style. ***** Prerequisite(s): CHIN 302, 311, placement test, or permission of instructor. Ability to write approximately 700 characters assumed.
