Description: APPLIED ECONOMETRICS ***** Applied econometrics methods; focus will be on the application of econometrics and complementary measurement methodologies to modeling, forecasting, and hypothesis testing. Applications will include firm decision-making, testing for discrimination in the workplace, competition policy, portfolio management, and macroeconomic forecasting. Not offered every year. ***** Prerequisite(s): ECON 211, 212, 382, (STAT 310) or permission of instructor. Some knowledge of calculus is required.
