Description: FAMILY INEQUALITY ***** This is an intense, upper-level seminar focused on aspects of inequality concerning American families. We will discuss how well-known modes of inequality, such as race/ethnicity, gender, and social class, affect individual families, as well as how families serve as agents of inequality along these lines. ***** Also offered as WGST 444. ***** Prerequisite(s): SOCI 334. ***** Enrollment limited to 15. ***** Instructor(s): Heard.
