Description: ACCELERATED INTERMEDIATE CHINESE II ***** Continuation of CHIN 311. More emphasis on reading narratives, comprehending authentic oral texts, and speaking in more formal contexts. Writing assignments stress skills necessary for expressing arguments on socio-cultural topics. At the completion of CHIN 312, students will be able to write approximately 800 Chinese characters. ***** Enrollment limited to 20. ***** Prerequisite(s): CHIN 302, CHIN 311, placement test, or permission of instructor.
