Description: RICE UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARS PROGRAM ***** The RUSP program is designed for students in any department who may be considering graduate school and/or careers in research or scholarship. The course centers on individual research projects that are supervised by a faculty member, who is identified by the student. This faculty member meets regularly with the student and serves as a mentor. Modest funds are available to support costs of the research projects. Weekly class meetings feature presentations on topics related to research and scholarship. In addition, each student gives an oral presentation on his/her project's discipline. Enrollment by permission of course faculty, based on applications submitted in the previous Spring term.
