Description: COMPUTER SYSTEMS ARCHITECTURE ***** Design of advanced uniprocessor system architecture and basics of parallel architectures. Advanced pipelining, including dynamic scheduling and precise interrupt handling. Advanced techniques for exploiting instruction level parallelism, including superscalar and VLIW architectures. Case studies of several recent high-performance microprocessors. Vector processors. Memory system design--techniques to improve cache performance, virtual memory systems, main memory enhancements.
