Description: SEMINAR IN LITERATURE AND LITERARY ANALYSIS ***** This course serves as an introduction to the English major, but it is also open to non-majors. It emphasizes the close reading of literature and critical writing about literature, as well as understanding the social, historical, and cultural contexts within which imaginitive works are produced and interpreted.
