Description: Statistical inference, decision theory, and simulation as applied to assist in making individual clinical decisions, policy recommendations, and as a guide to study design and research; topics include statistical decision theory, decision analysis, decision trees, markvo models and simulation, cost-effectiveness analysis, meta-analysis, and sensitivity analysis. Grading will be based on regularly assigned homework exercises and term projects.
