Description: In this course, participants will learn about the geological and archeological history of Texas. Classroom sessions will focus on scientific principles relevant to Texas and the people who made the critical discoveries in these fields, with a review of both primary and secondary literature, as well as current scientific articles. The course will culminate in a weekend field trip through central Texas, which will include stops at various sites of geological and archeological significant. Department Permission Required.
