Foundation concepts for secondary mathematics, algebraic thinking and symbolic reasoning, function concepts, relationship between algebra and geometry, and underlying mathematical processes. Use of manipulatives and technology. Curriculum development using the RUSMP Learning Plan development and assessment strategies.
