Description: The course will introduce basic concepts in polymer science including the synthesis and chemical modification of polymers as well as physical properties of polymers. Topics include approaches to polymer synthesis, processing and characterization of polymer materials, and an introduction to mathematical models applied to describe the structure and dynamics of polymeric materials.
