Description: An advanced level course that continues in the tradition of ARTS 225, Basic Drawing. Students will be encouraged to explore the language of drawing materials. Emphasis will be on individual development via observation and investigation. Students will have the opportunity to draw in a larger format and subjects will be formulated primarily on still-life, portraiture, collage and experimental three-dimensional paper drawings. Space in studio classes is limited. Registration does not guarantee a place in class. The class roster is formulated on the first day of class by the instructor.
