Description: This independent research course offers multi-disciplinary training in the area of cellular engineering within the Departments of Bioengineering and Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Areas of research will include engineering of hard and soft tissue formation, cardiovascular tissue engineering, engineering cell surface interactions regulating movement and metabolic engineering. Students will conduct independent research under the supervision of a faculty mentor.
