Description: The course will focus on the three legs of sustainability - environmental, economic, and social issues - and will address both theoretical and practical aspects of measuring sustainable development. Sustainability is one of the great challenges for humans in the 21st century and will be a key consideration in future settlement patterns and engineering design solutions.
