Description: Students are introduced to the principles of engineering leadership, strategies for launching and leading effective project teams, and methods for cultivating creativity and innovation in design contexts. Course concepts are reinforced by active learning activities, including case studies, experiential simulations, an engineering design project, and interactions with industry professionals. The class is targeted at sophomores and first-semester juniors, and will serve as a source for recruiting RCEL's Apprentice Leaders for ENGI 316.
