Description: Capoeira is a truly unique art, combining martial arts, dance and music. Classes emphasize strength, coordination, agility and self-defense. Students will learn the history, traditions, and essential moves and strategies, as well as how to play the music and put all these skills together in the roda (circle where Capoeira is played). Prerequisite: Successful completion of LPAP graduation requirement. Department Permission Required.Equivalency: LPAP 133.
