Description: A comprehensive introduction to all aspects of functional magnetic resonance imaging, a cutting edge methodology that allows direct observation of the neural processing underlying human perception and cognition. Lectures will cover methods and applications of fMRI. The lab portion will involve designing experimental paradigms and collecting and analyzing fMMRI data. The class will be held at University of Texas Medical School Building B6.45. Instructor Permission Required.Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: PSYC 471.
