Description: Simplexity MD has established a formal internship program with the Jones Graduate School of Management (JGSM) at Rice University in order to give students exposure and experience with creating entrepreneurial medical device companies in Houston. The program has allowed students to work directly with medical device entrepreneurs in nearly all aspects of startup business. The program has been beneficial for both the Simplexity MD, by providing experienced volunteers, and the Jones school students, by giving them a chance to apply the knowledge they gain in the classroom to the real world problems which all start-up companies face. The program has also allowed great networking opportunities for graduate students interested in the growing high-tech field and could provide students future employment opportunities. Repeatable for Credit.
