Description: FUNDAMENTALS OF MEDICAL IMAGING ***** The course will introduce basic medical imaging modalities, such as x-ray, CT, and MRI, used to identify the anatomy of human organs, as well as other modalties, such as PET, SPECT, fMRI, and MEG, specifically developed to localize brain function. The course includes visits to clinical sites. ***** Also offered as ELEC 685 and COMP 685. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: BIOE 485. Repeatable for Credit.
